What’s a piece of media (book, movie, song) that changed how you see the world?
I would choose the book “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho. Its message—that every person has a unique purpose and that courage is essential to pursuing one’s dreams—fundamentally changed how I see the world. Rather than viewing success as simply achieving wealth or recognition, the book taught me that the journey itself, with its challenges, failures, and unexpected opportunities, is where true growth takes place.
It also reinforced the importance of listening to one’s intuition, embracing uncertainty, and trusting that persistence often leads to meaningful outcomes. The story reminded me that setbacks are not signs to give up but opportunities to learn and become stronger.
Since reading it, I have approached life with greater optimism, resilience, and a deeper appreciation for personal growth. It transformed my perspective from focusing solely on destinations to valuing the experiences and lessons gained along the way.
