What is something you wish you could tell your 20-year-old self?
If I could tell my 20-year-old self one thing, it would be this: stop worrying so much about having everything figured out. At 20, it often feels like every decision will determine the course of your entire life, but the truth is that growth comes from experience, mistakes, and the willingness to adapt.
I would remind myself that success is rarely a straight path. Some of the setbacks that seem devastating in the moment will later become valuable lessons. I would encourage myself to take more calculated risks, trust my abilities, and focus less on comparing my journey to others. Everyone moves at a different pace, and comparison often steals the joy of personal progress.
Most importantly, I would say: invest in relationships, stay curious, and never stop learning. Skills can be developed, opportunities can be created, and goals can evolve, but integrity, resilience, and meaningful connections are what truly stand the test of time.
Life will not always go according to plan—and that is perfectly okay. Often, the unexpected turns lead to the most rewarding destinations.
