The kindest thing someone has ever done for me was simply being there when I needed someone most. During a difficult time in my life, they took the time to listen, encourage me, and remind me that I was not alone.

They didn’t try to fix everything or expect anything in return. Their presence, patience, and genuine concern meant more to me than they probably realized.
