  • “Do You Need a Big Platform to Make a Big Difference?”

    Question:
Do you really need a huge following, a big platform, or public recognition to make a real impact in the world?

    My Answer & Opinion:
    Absolutely not.

We live in a world where visibility is often mistaken for value. Social media and modern culture have trained us to believe that unless hundreds of people are watching, clapping, or sharing our work, it doesn’t really count. But I’ve come to believe the opposite: true impact often happens in silence.

Think about the teacher who encourages a struggling child, the friend who listens without judgment, the parent who wakes up early to provide for their family—these are powerful, life-changing actions that may never go viral, but they matter deeply.

I believe that small actions, done with love, have eternal ripple effects. You may not have a stage, but your life is speaking every day—through your kindness, your character, your consistency. And someone is always watching, even if it’s just one heart you touch.

One smile. One encouraging word. One quiet prayer.
    That’s how real change starts.

So no, you don’t need a big platform.
You just need a willing heart, a little courage, and the faith to believe that your life matters—even in the unseen places.

✨ Your value isn’t measured by numbers. It’s reflected in love.

  • What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?

The Most I’ve Ever Spent on a Meal — And Was It Worth It?

I still remember the exact moment the bill arrived.

It was a warm evening in Geneva, Switzerland, and I had booked a table at a fine dining restaurant as a way to treat myself and a dear friend. The place was famous for its artistic presentation, seasonal tasting menu, and views overlooking the lake. I had heard about it for years, but this was the first time I decided to take the plunge.

By the end of the evening, the total came to 320 Swiss francs — for just two people.

    Yes, you read that right.

Each course was tiny, delicate, and perfectly prepared. There were ingredients I had never tasted before and combinations that made me pause after every bite, just to process the flavors. The wine pairing was flawless, the service was gracious, and the ambiance made me feel like I had stepped into a dream.

    But… was it worth it?

In terms of taste and technique? Absolutely.
In terms of my bank account? Probably not.
    In terms of memory? Completely.

That night wasn’t just a meal. It was an experience. We laughed, we talked about dreams and future plans, we paused to admire the sunset. I’ve forgotten many meals, but not this one.

Sometimes, we spend money not just for food, but for the moment. And if the moment feeds your soul as much as the food fed your body — I’d say it’s worth every cent.

    What about you?
Have you ever spent more than you expected on a meal? Was it worth it? Share your story in the comments — I’d love to hear it.

  • Scour the news for an entirely uninteresting story. Consider how it connects to your life. Write about that.

Scour the News for an Entirely Uninteresting Story. Consider How It Connects to Your Life.

Earlier this week, a minor news story reported that a small town in Belgium has officially changed the color of its public benches from forest green to soft blue. The reason? To “create a more relaxing atmosphere in public spaces.” That’s it. No protests. No political undertone. Just benches, getting a makeover.

At first glance, this seems like the kind of story that barely deserves a mention. But strangely, it connected with me.

I realized how often we overlook the small changes around us—the ones that seem unimportant but quietly affect our mood. Just like those benches, I recently rearranged my living room. I didn’t buy anything new. I just moved a chair, changed a curtain, and replaced a dark lamp with a warmer one. Suddenly, I felt calmer at home. The space felt lighter. More “me.”

Reading about the bench color change made me appreciate how even simple, boring updates can improve our daily lives. Sometimes it’s not the big news that shapes us, but the gentle decisions made quietly in the background. We don’t always need dramatic change—just a touch of soft blue in our everyday.

  • Describe one habit that brings you joy.

One Habit That Brings me Joy:

Joy doesn’t always come from big events or grand achievements. Sometimes, it’s hidden in the quiet rhythm of daily habits—those small things we do regularly that bring peace to our hearts. For me, one such habit is taking a moment of stillness each morning before the day begins.

I’ve made it a practice to sit quietly for five to ten minutes every morning. No phone, no distractions, just me and the silence. I usually have a warm cup of tea or water beside me. I use this time to breathe deeply, gather my thoughts, and express quiet gratitude for a new day. It’s a gentle reset for my mind and spirit.

This habit might seem small, but the joy it brings is real. It helps me feel grounded and present. It sets a calm tone for the rest of my day, no matter what challenges lie ahead. In that short window of stillness, I often feel a quiet kind of happiness—the kind that doesn’t need noise or validation, just space.

We often underestimate the power of habits like this. But I’ve come to learn that joy lives in the little things. And this little thing—this simple pause—is one habit I wouldn’t trade for anything.
