Do you believe in fate/destiny?
Yes, I believe in destiny — but not in the passive sense that everything is rigidly predetermined. Rather, I see destiny as a partnership between divine design and human decision.
Throughout history, philosophers such as emphasized purpose and intentionality in life, while faith traditions across cultures speak of calling and divine orchestration. Destiny, in that light, is not a script we helplessly perform; it is a direction we are invited to pursue.
I believe there are moments in life that feel aligned beyond coincidence — encounters, opportunities, even challenges that seem to shape us with uncanny precision. Yet those moments require response. Choice remains central. Discipline, courage, and character determine whether we walk toward or away from what might be meant for us.
In my view, destiny sets the stage, but effort delivers the performance. It does not eliminate responsibility; it deepens it. If we believe there is purpose woven into our lives, then we are called to live intentionally — to grow, to serve, and to refine our gifts.
So yes, I believe in destiny. Not as an excuse for inaction, but as a reminder that our lives carry meaning — and that meaning unfolds most powerfully when preparation meets opportunity.
