One lesson I wish I had learned earlier in life is that comparison is a thief of joy. For a long time, I measured my worth by looking at what others had achieved, thinking I was behind or not good enough. What I’ve come to understand is that everyone has their own unique path, their own timing, and their own definition of success.
The moment I stopped comparing and started appreciating my own journey, I felt lighter and more fulfilled. Progress no longer felt like a race—it became a personal growth story that I could truly enjoy. If I had learned this lesson earlier, I would have saved myself from unnecessary stress and self-doubt.
Now I remind myself often: focus on your lane, celebrate your wins, and trust that your timing is right.
