Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 150g each)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or spring onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade – In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and lemon juice.
- Season the Salmon – Lightly sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the salmon fillets.
- Cook the Salmon – Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes.
- Add the Glaze – Pour the honey garlic mixture over the salmon. Cook for another 3–4 minutes, spooning the glaze over the fillets until they are cooked through and coated in a sticky sauce.
- Serve – Garnish with parsley or spring onions. Serve hot with steamed vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes.
Tip: Don’t overcook the salmon — it should be tender and flake easily with a fork.
