🍽️ Grilled Sea Bream with Lemon Herb Butter

A light, flavorful fish recipe perfect for a summer lunch or elegant dinner.

🐟 Ingredients:

  • 2 whole sea bream (cleaned and scaled)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 cloves garlic (sliced)
  • 4 slices of lemon
  • A few sprigs of fresh rosemary or thyme

🧈 For the Herb Butter:

  • 50g unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon chopped chives or dill
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Pinch of salt

🔥 Instructions:

  1. Prepare the herb butter
    In a bowl, mix softened butter with chopped herbs, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt. Set aside in the fridge to firm up.
  2. Prepare the fish
    Pat the sea bream dry. Rub inside and out with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stuff the cavity with lemon slices, garlic, and rosemary.
  3. Grill the fish
    Preheat grill (or oven at 200°C). Grill each side for 6–8 minutes or until skin is crisp and flesh flakes easily.
  4. Serve
    Top the hot fish with slices of herb butter and let it melt beautifully. Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh green salad.
