🍽️ Grilled Sea Bream with Lemon Herb Butter
A light, flavorful fish recipe perfect for a summer lunch or elegant dinner.
🐟 Ingredients:
- 2 whole sea bream (cleaned and scaled)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- 2 cloves garlic (sliced)
- 4 slices of lemon
- A few sprigs of fresh rosemary or thyme
🧈 For the Herb Butter:
- 50g unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon chopped chives or dill
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Pinch of salt
🔥 Instructions:
- Prepare the herb butter
In a bowl, mix softened butter with chopped herbs, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt. Set aside in the fridge to firm up. - Prepare the fish
Pat the sea bream dry. Rub inside and out with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stuff the cavity with lemon slices, garlic, and rosemary. - Grill the fish
Preheat grill (or oven at 200°C). Grill each side for 6–8 minutes or until skin is crisp and flesh flakes easily. - Serve
Top the hot fish with slices of herb butter and let it melt beautifully. Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh green salad.
