🍲 Spiced Coconut Fish Curry

A vibrant, aromatic curry with a tropical twist—perfect for professionals who love bold flavors.


🐟 Ingredients:

500g firm white fish fillets (like cod, snapper, or tilapia), cut into chunks

1 tablespoon oil (coconut or vegetable)

1 onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

1 red chili, sliced (adjust to heat preference)

1 teaspoon turmeric

1 teaspoon ground coriander

1 teaspoon curry powder

400ml coconut milk

Juice of 1 lime

Salt to taste

Fresh cilantro (coriander leaves), chopped


🍳 Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan. Sauté onions until translucent, then add garlic, ginger, and chili.
  2. Stir in turmeric, ground coriander, and curry powder. Let the spices bloom for 1 minute.
  3. Pour in the coconut milk, bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add fish pieces carefully into the sauce. Cover and cook for 8–10 minutes until fish is cooked through.
  5. Squeeze in lime juice, adjust salt, and garnish with fresh cilantro.
  6. Serve hot with basmati rice or warm naan.

📝 Tip: For extra depth, toast your spices in a dry pan before adding oil.
