Spicy Honey Glazed Salmon
A perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and savory—this salmon dish is simple, healthy, and bursting with flavor. Great for a weeknight dinner or a special meal.
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets (skin on or off)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Juice of ½ a lemon
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice. - Season the Salmon
Pat the salmon dry and season both sides lightly with salt and pepper. - Sear the Salmon
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes without moving them. - Add the Glaze
Flip the salmon and pour the honey glaze over the fillets. Let it simmer and reduce slightly, spooning the glaze over the salmon as it cooks for another 3–4 minutes. - Serve
Once the salmon is cooked through and glazed, remove from heat. Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve hot.
Serving Suggestions:
- Serve with steamed rice, quinoa, or mashed potatoes
- Pair with sautéed green beans, asparagus, or a crisp garden salad
